Award winning solicitors to expand into Aviemore
An established Highland solicitors is increasing its presence in the region and is investing in a new office in Aviemore, which will open later this week.
Munro & Noble is a highly respected firm, which is headquartered in Inverness and has been trading since 1907. During that time the company has had a long and mutually beneficial history of dealing with a vast number of clients from Badenoch and Strathspey. The amount of work Munro & Noble has within the region has increased significantly and the firm has decided to launch a dedicated office to serve clients in the area.
The Munro & Noble Aviemore branch will open on Friday (Sept 1) at Ghuilbin House on Grampian Road in the centre of the town. Initially the office will operate on a Wednesday and a Friday.
The solicitor’s satellite office is opening during a time of huge redevelopment and major investment in Aviemore. Among the other projects currently underway or in the pipeline for the busy town, are: a new hospital; new retail units being built on the site previously owned by Tesco; the imminent arrival of a Premier Inn hotel; the joint BP and M&S venture which opened at the end of August; An Camas Mòr, the proposed site in Rothiemurchus, expected to deliver up to 1,500 homes commencing 2019.
Munro & Noble partner, Tom Hillis, will be spearheading the move into Aviemore. Tom’s legal experience is in residential and commercial conveyancing, agriculture and crofting law and licensing law. Having been in practice in Inverness for 30 years, he has a very good knowledge of many other areas of law and of the locality. With a large team of lawyers based in Inverness, if Tom is unable to deal with a matter directly, he will be able to secure assistance from one of his colleagues. Munro & Noble currently have more than 40 employees based in Inverness.
Gordon McIntosh, practice manager at Munro & Noble, said: “Our aim is to provide timely and pro-active advice to our clients. This coupled with traditional Highland values of providing a quality service at a fair and reasonable price are at the heart of everything we strive to do at Munro & Noble. We also believe in empowering our staff, investing in their training and the technology to support them. Communication is key to successful trading and with the opening of our new location we sincerely hope that having local access to our lawyers will be of significant benefit to the individuals and businesses of the region.
“We believe that being at the central hub of the region, Aviemore will prove to be an ideal location for not only the firm, but more importantly our current and future clients. Aviemore is ambitious for its future, so too is Munro & Noble.”
